VehicleCheck.nz provides vehicle history check reports for New Zealand-registered vehicles. Each report includes stolen vehicle status, PPSR/financing checks, WoF status, registration status, and vehicle details. Reports are generated by querying official New Zealand databases at the time of purchase.

While we source data from official government databases (NZ Police, PPSR, NZTA), we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or currency of the information provided. Data is only as accurate as the information held in the source databases at the time of the check.

VehicleCheck.nz shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from or in connection with the use of our reports. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss arising from purchasing a vehicle based on information in our reports. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the fee paid for the report.

Our reports do not cover: mechanical condition, accident history, odometer accuracy, outstanding traffic fines, vehicle safety recalls, or compliance with modification rules. We recommend obtaining a professional pre-purchase inspection before buying any used vehicle.

As reports are generated instantly and data is accessed from third-party databases at cost, we generally cannot offer refunds once a report has been generated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your report, please contact us within 24 hours at hello@vehiclecheck.nz.

Reports reflect data at the time of generation only. Vehicle status can change at any time after a report is generated. We recommend generating a new report if more than 7 days have passed since your last check.

All content, branding, and software on VehicleCheck.nz is owned by or licensed to VehicleCheck.nz. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Reports are for personal use only.

You agree to provide accurate plate numbers and not to use our service for any unlawful purpose. You must not attempt to access our systems in an unauthorised manner, use automated tools to scrape our service, or resell report data.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VehicleCheck.nz, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our service or breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. The New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies to our service where applicable.
